Advocacy

In domestic and sexual violence victim advocacy, the role of our advocate is to walk the path with our clients to ensure they do not have to walk alone.  And, when they do not have the ability to speak for themselves, ensure that they can still be heard.  Advocacy is about laying out options, and letting our clients know what they have to gain and lose by making certain choices.  Our work is about empowerment.

The following is a list of advocacy programs offered at Safe Avenues.  For more information, contact an advocate at (320) 235-0962 or (800) 792-4210.
